This report highlights UNICEF's key achievements in 2024 across its five goal areas: health, education, child protection, water and sanitation, and social policy. Despite a year marked by violent conflict, climate disasters, and rising poverty, UNICEF continued to deliver life-saving support to millions of children in over 190 countries and territories.

From clean water and healthcare to education and mental health support, UNICEF worked with partners to reach even the hardest-to-access communities. Their efforts helped protect and uplift children facing some of the most difficult conditions around the world. Looking ahead to 2025, the report warns that the world remains unstable, with political changes, economic struggles, and worsening humanitarian crises. However, recent and expected cuts in funding are seriously affecting their ability to help children in need and this global funding shortfall could put the lives of millions more children at risk.

UNICEF is calling for urgent support to ensure it can continue protecting the rights and wellbeing of every child, everywhere.
