xThe Promise Scotland: updated logo
Date: 20th January 2026
Category:
General measures of implementation, Care Experienced children
The Promise Scotland updated their logo with the aim to create more clarity between them as an organisation and the promise.
It was highlighted in October, when Audit Scotland published their report, ‘Improving Care Experience, Delivering the Promise. This said that there needs to be more clarity around the roles of The Promise Scotland, the Independent Strategic Advisor and the Oversight Board.
The organisations previous logo and the promise heart were very similar, which led to confusion. The updated logo features a tagline and graphic to set apart the organisation and the promise and other bodies working to keep the promise.
The Promise Scotland logo should be used whenever it relates to work done by or in collaboration with the organisation. The promise heart remains for everyone who works to keep the promise and wants to show their support in upholding principles and recommendations of the Independent Care Review.
