The Scottish Government is investing £7.6 million to improve support for neurodivergent children, young people and their families across Scotland.

The funding will be distributed through local councils to help strengthen existing services and provide flexible support that meets the needs of local communities. The investment forms part of wider work involving the Scottish Government, COSLA, health services, education providers and third-sector organisations to improve access to timely and joined-up support.

Minister for Mental Wellbeing, Maree Todd MSP, announced the funding during a visit to Windygoul Primary School in East Lothian. She said the investment would help local areas build on existing services and improve support for children, young people and their families.
