    In a new report ' Rights, Remedies and Representation ' every country in the world has been ranked on how effectively children can use the law to challenge violations of their rights, in what is the first-ever global study on children's access to justice. The report provides a snapshot of how countries compare when it comes to ensuring that every child rights violation has a remedy, and sets the scene for collective action towards pressing for reform to improve access to justice for children worldwide.

The article referred to questions asked of the Scottish Government by Alison McInnes MSP, which were answered on 10th Feburary by Minister for Children and Young People Aileen Campbell MSP.

    Following a meeting with Together and the Children's Commissioner on 14th January 2016, the Joint Committee on Human Rights wrote to the Secretary of State for Justice Michael Gove, seeking assurance that the consultation period for the Government's proposals to repeal the Human Rights Act and replace it with a revised Bill of Rights will not overlap with the dissolution of the Scottish Parliament and pre-election purdah period for the Scottish Government.

    ENOC has launched a new report outlining the current safety risks for children on the move in Europe and the degree to which they have access to their rights while travelling to and through Europe and upon arrival in their country of destination.
